Over 50 per cent of Explorer Travel Insurance customers to take multiple holidays this year

More than half (58 per cent) of the 1,500 respondents to Explorer’s survey said that they were planning two or more overseas trips during 2022, with Spain, Greece and France the most popular destinations.

 And despite the disruption of the past two years caused by the pandemic, when asked ‘what are the most important considerations when choosing a travel insurance policy’?, the top-two buying factors were emergency medical expenses cover not related to coronavirus (26 per cent), closely followed by the policy cost (25 per cent).
